Iran-Brazil Friendship International Cartoon, Caricature and Poster Competition 2023
The Iran International Cartoon Center, in partnership with BrazilCartoon and the Brazil-Iran Friendship Institute, under the responsibility of Marcio Leite and the publisher O Farol, organizes:
1- This competition is held in collaboration with Professor John Lent, a prominent researcher in the world of comics (Comic world), from the United States.
2- The Brazilian artistic executive of this event is Mr. EDRA (Elcio Danilo Russo Amorim) and the Iranian artistic executive of this competition is Mr. Masoud Shojai Tabatabaei.

Caricature Category:
Pelé and Vinícius Júnior
Pelé: considered one of the greatest football players of all time, having received the title of “Best Player” from FIFA. He was elected athlete of the century in 1980 by the French newspaper L’Equipe and is also considered one of the most successful and popular sports figures of the 20th century.

Vinícius Júnior: is another Brazilian football star. A standout member of the Real Madrid team, the young player has been the victim, as a result, of racist insults from fans, saying: “La Liga belongs to the racists.”

Conditions:
– Each participant can submit a maximum of 5 works in each category.
– The works sent must not have been awarded in other competitions.
– Cartoon and caricature works must be sent in PNG or JPG format and 300 dpi resolution, with a width or length of 2000 pixels.
– Works in the Posters category must be sent in JPG or PNG format and 300 dpi resolution, with a size of 50×70 centimeters.
– It is mandatory to send your full name, postal address, email address, telephone number, photo and CV in a Word file.
– The printed catalog of works will be presented to the artists whose works reach the end.
-An electronic PDF file of the catalog will be sent to all participants.
– Submission of works is only possible via email.

1st place: a Persian rug, the competition trophy and a certificate of honor.
2nd place: 7,000 reais and a certificate of honor.
Audience Award: a Persian rug and a certificate of honor.
Special Prize: Persian crafts and a certificate of honor.
Posters Category: 1st place: a Persian rug, the competition trophy and a certificate of honor.
2nd place: 7,000 reais, a trophy and a certificate of honor.
