FICA 2023 INTERNATIONAL CARICATURE COMPETITION

The weekly Le Canard Libéré IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MOROCCAN ASSOCIATION of caricature (MAC) And the ASSOCIATION atlas of caricature (AAC) organizes International Festival of caricature in Africafica 2023.
Regulations

Jury decisions.

Conditions of participation in the competition
The number of works per participant islimited to 2 (two).
The works must not have been published, exhibited or awarded in Morocco or abroad.
Format: A4, 300 dpi, JPG/JPEG and free techniques

Deadline: 16 NOVEMBER. 2023
Works that do not meet the set conditions
In thisregulationwill not beconsidered for the competition.
The followingprizes are provided:
First prize (duck).
Second Prize (Africa)
Thirdprize (pencil stroke)

REGISTRATION FORM

By participating in competitions, the authorlendshisworks to the organizers of exhibitions. The works sent remain at the disposal of the organizers for twoyears.
• The members of the jury willbeconsidered as participants in the exhibition
And representtheirown country.
Theirnameswillautomaticallybeadded to the list of participants
(Theywillonlyparticipate in the exhibition, Not in competition (just participation of honor).
• The workscanbeused for promotionalpurposes
(Printing, websites, newspapers, posters, invitation cards…)
Without the authorization of the artist and withoutanypayment.

BOUHALI HAMID wasbornin 1945 in Essaouia, Morocco.
Cartoonist. Winner of the Teacher Training Center, specialist in Plastic Arts. In the 1980s hepublishedtwo cartoon newspapers:”Al Tekchab” and “Akhbar l’Souk”, whichwerebanned. He thenpublishedcomicstrips and humorouspostcards. Residing in Essaouira, he chairs the “Attilal” Association of Plastic Arts, with a gallery wherehe exhibits.

تعريف للفنان المكرم البوهالي حميد
ارتبط اسم الصحافي والكاريكاتيرست حميد بوهالي باسم شخصية الشاوش بوشناق، تلك الشخصية التي كان المغاربة يتابعون مواقفها مرتين في الشهر في
الصحيفة الساخرة «التقشاب» المتوقفة بقرار من وزارة الداخلية سنة1982
حيت ثم عتقاله
ولد حميد بوهالي عام 1945 في مدينة الصويرة بالمغرب.
رسام الكاريكاتير. . أصدر في الثمانينيات صحيفتين من الرسوم الكاريكاتورية:”أخبار السوق”و “تقشاب” و ، وقد تم حظرهما. ثم نشر شرائط كوميدية وبطاقات بريدية مضحكة. يقيم حاليا في الصويرة جنوب المغرب ، ويرأس جمعية “أتلال” للفنون التشكيلية ،
