Press Cartoonists From All Over The World Take Part Into The International Human Rights Cartoon Award, 2017, France..
Deadline: November 30, 2017..

This competition opened from 11 September to 30 November 2017 (midnight) is strictly reserved for
press cartoonists from all over the world.

The International Human Rights Cartoon Award
United Sketches the International Association for Freedom of expression and Cartoonists, Kianoush Ramezani,
its founder & president & The Mémorial de Caen are organising the International Human Rights Cartoon Award.

The press cartoonists committed to the defence of human rights are invited to take
parts into the competition with only one topic : the defence of human rights.

The theme is: “Defending human rights”.
Applicants should send maximum 2 cartoons [in high quality] together with their short biography and photo portrait via email.

Mémorial de Caen human rights cartoon award: 3000€
Siné award: 1000€
People‘s choice award: 1000€
Young citizen award: 1000€. Prize donated by United Sketches.

Prize winners will be officially announced at the Speeches for the Defence competition
which will take place from Friday 26 January to Sunday 28 January 2018.

In January 2018, the selected nominees will see their cartoon published on the Internet and the social media.
The drawings will be published on the Internet and on social networks.
The drawings are to be sent until midnight November 30 at the following address: prixmemorial@unitedsketches.org
