XVII INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION CARICATUR “INDEPENDENCE” CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION:
1. The theme of the competition: “Chess”. Chess is an ancient and wise game,
synthesizing and absorbing all areas of human activity in an amazing and incomprehensible way.
It is more than a game – it is a miniature model of an immense universe.
People call it a game, although in fact, it goes far beyond the scope of this definition…
2. The works accepted to the competition:
– Originals, including the ones created by using computer; – Quality copies (on thick paper!)

3. Format: A4 (297×210 mm).
By email: Requirements for the file: Jpeg format, A4 size,
resolution 300 dpi, maximum file size 2 MB. Be sure to attach the completed and scanned application form.
The files must have the name: surname_country_number. For example: kazanchev_ukraina_01
4. Number of works: maximum 5.
5. Please indicate on the reverse side of each work: name, address, telephone number, e-mail.
6. The deadline for receipt of papers: October 2, 2017.
7. It is necessary to send completed application form with photo attached to the works.
8. Prizes: Cash prizes, diplomas and prizes from sponsors.
9. The organizers are not responsible for any damage in transit.
The submitted works will not be re-viewed will not be returned and may be used
by the organizers for promotional purposes,
in the pub-lications relating to a competition for cartoons “Independence” without payment to the authors of works
10. The winners will be informed additionally.
According to the results of the competition a catalogue will be published,
and sent to all the artists whose works will be included in the catalogue.
The exhibition of the best works and the award ceremony will be held in Brovary, Kyiv region, in the shopping mall
“Terminal” in October-November 2017.
11. The results will be published on the website: www.cartoon.org.ua.
12. The jury’s decision is final and not subject to revision.
