As part of the Iraqi Cultural Festival in Canada, and as promised last year, the Iraqi Canadian House, the Iraqi Society branch in London, Ontario, is holding an Arabic book fair, “Al-Mutanabbi Street – Second Edition,” with the participation of several Arab publishing houses and bookstores. The fair will be held on Sunday, October 19, at the Ramada Hotel, as shown in the poster. Alongside the fair, a memorial exhibition will also be held for Iraqi cartoonist Mu’ayyad Nima, marking the twentieth anniversary of his passing. Media personality Maha Al-Bayati (the deceased’s wife) will be in attendance, discussing his life and works, along with journalist and writer Laith Al-Hamdani. The invitation is open to all, and your attendance is a support for Iraqi and Arab culture in Canada.
