15th International Cartoon Biennale 2025 We are very pleased to present you the catalogue of the Humour & Vigne Biennale exhibition from June 27 to July 6, 2025 at the Cloître des Carmes in Jonzac, dedicated to cartoons and the cultural heritage of the grape vine. For over 30 years, we have shared our passion for humour, tolerance and freedom of expression by bringing together the talents of remarkable artists and participating in about two hundred events in a hundred locations, in France and abroad. On the agenda this time again: exhibitions with more than 200 works by internationally renowned cartoonists, fifteen of whom are invited to exchange, sign and draw caricatures live; interventions in schools, cartoon workshops, lectures, shows, music, dance, meals, and tastings; the presentation of various trophies, awards, and diplomas; publishing of catalogues, programmes, posters, special vintage labels, not to mention the famous “Balad’humour,” a disorganized tour of the local cultural region. This year, we have chosen to limit the number of exhibitors to around twenty artists selected among the mentors and winners of previous Biennales. This catalogue features some of their works on the theme “Spectacle” (with or without a connection to the grape vine).
