REGULATIONS:
SAINT ANTHONY OF LISBON:
He was born in Lisbon in 1195 and was canonized shortly after his death in Padua, Italy, on June 13, 1231. He was a theologian and preacher and was known for his devotion to the poor. The Franciscan saint is also the “matchmaker saint” and helps find lost objects. Lisboners celebrate him with entertainment, sardines, dances and popular marches in June.

1. Competition open to all artists of all ages, professional or amateur;
2. Deadline: May 13, 2025.
Entries must be uploaded to the contest page in digital format, 300 dpis (maximum 4 megs) and the corresponding form duly completed;
3. Each artist can send only one work and all techniques are accepted as long as it is… a Saint Anthony.
(All works must be scanned and sent via the competition website);
4. It is up to the competition organizers to select the works that will be included in the exhibition and catalog. Prizes and honorable mentions will be awarded by a seven-member jury. Decisions will be taken by majority and are irrevocable. Six prizes and seven honorable mentions will be awarded,
divided into two categories, adults and young people:
AWARDS:
Artistas ADULTOS

1st Prize: Trophy + diploma + voucher (750 euros) El Corte Inglés
2nd Prize: Trophy + diploma + drawing material (500 euros) Associação Avenida
3rd Prize: Trophy + diploma + drawing material (200 euros) Ponto das Artes
7 Honorable Mentions: Trophy + diploma + Box of “Pater” Casa Agrícola Pinto do Amaral wine
YOUNG ARTISTS
st Prize: Trophy + diploma + Ponto das Artes material + ASA Comic Books
2nd Prize: Trophy + diploma + Ponto das Artes material + ASA Comic Books
3rd Prize: Trophy + diploma + Ponto das Artes material + ASA Comic Books

5. The organization will inform all selected and awarded artists. The jury may decide not to award all the prizes;
6. The act of registering a work automatically implies the assignment of the respective reproduction rights for non-commercial purposes. The winning works become the property of the organization, implying the automatic assignment of all copyrights;
7. All selected artists will receive the exhibition catalog and a certificate of participation;
8. The contest awards ceremony will take place on June 10 at Praça da Alegria, in Lisbon. On the same day, a showcase of the submitted works will open at Praça da Alegria, along with an exhibition at the Arquitecto Cosmelli Sant’Anna Library;
