بسبب الأوضاع المالية ، تعلن المسابقة تأجيل إطلاق المسابقة الدولية الرابعة إلى عام ٢٠٢٤ وهذا بحسب تصريج اللجنة المنظمة وغياب الراعي الرسمي للمسابقة …وأكد البيان أن عجزهم عن تنفيذ المشروع شكل خيبة أمل لهم…وهذا ماحصل أيضاً في مسابقتي بورتو ومهرجان الصحافة العالمي في البرتغال.
Dear friends, we want to inform you that, when we had everything ready for the release of this fourth edition, one of the sponsors told us that this year it cannot continue and, although we have tried to find alternatives, with little time of the one we have, it has been impossible for us to carry out this year’s edition. Since we do not want to reach the extreme situation of Portocartoon and World Press Cartoon, it has been decided that the Award will be biennial, resting this year and resuming the fourth edition in 2024.
A small disappointment but one that will make us stronger for the future.
Thanks to all of you who have participated by sending your work and thereby making the Award go ahead. To those who have not yet decided to participate by sending their works in previous editions, ask them that their participation helps maintain one of the few Graphic Humor Awards that are remaining in Spain.
