Exhibition of the International World Cup Cartoon and Caricature Contest / Iran-2022

One thousand and 736 works from 579 artists from 72 countries of the world were received by the secretariat of this festival.
The idea of ​​this contest was proposed in the spring of 2022 and the call for it was published in the summer and it was placed on Iran Cartoon website and specialized websites in Asia, Europe, Far East and Latin America and resulted in receiving 508 works in the cartoon section and 1228 works. It was in the cartoon section.
The competition in the cartoon section with the free theme, which presented the most work centered on peace and friendship, and in the cartoon section, the faces of the players and technical staff of 32 football teams qualified for the World Cup.
Iran is the only country among the 32 teams qualified for the World Cup that has a cultural attachment and has held a competition at the international level.

The composition of the internal jury consists of masters Bahman Abdi, Sajjad Rafei and Mohammad Rezadoost Mohammadi, and the secretary general of this event is Massoud Shojai Tabatabai, and the external judges of this event are Luis Ordonez from Argentina and Angel Boligan from Brazil.
All the works of the participants in the competition will be displayed in the form of exhibition packages in Tehran, Kish Island and provincial centers in Iran.
The exhibition of this competition opens with the start of the World Cup, and during this competition, the awards ceremony is held.
