Ceremony of the 7th International Cartoon Festival- Czech 2022
1,309 cartoon jokes on the topic of food and drink from 442 authors from 59 countries of the world arrived at the festival.
Cartoon jokes about food and drink, creating a maxi-joke or an open-air exhibition. All this will be offered by the International Cartoon Humor Festival in Františkovy Lázně. It starts on July 11 with an exhibition of jokes on Národní trida.

The official opening of the festival will take place on Friday, July 15, accompanied by the Kraslice Entertainment Orchestra. All cartoon jokes displayed on Národní trída will be on the theme of “Food and Drink” this year. In addition to Czech authors, illustrators from Slovakia and Croatia will participate in the festival this year. Visitors can also decide on the best cartoon joke from the exhibition, using ballots.

The festival will traditionally be complemented by a rich cultural program and a number of concerts, which will take place in the music pavilion at Františkova pramene, in addition to the promenade concert on July 17.

Of course, there will also be an announcement of the winners in the individual categories, which will take place on Saturday, July 16 at 5:30 p.m. Czech Radio Karlovy Vary will also award a special prize.
