The winners will be announced
at the opening of the exhibition

Once again, World Press Cartoon takes place in the city of Caldas da Rainha, thanks to the hospitality of its municipality, at a time of transition of ruling powers. The circumstances of this transition have meant that, in 2022, we did not have sufficient financial means to carry out the traditional prize-giving ceremony, forcing us to comply with only the minimum: the prizes, an exhibition and its catalogue.

The exhibition will be open to the public on the 28th of May, at the Caldas da Rainha Centro Cultural e Congressos, until the 28th of August.

The prizes will be announced at the inaugural act of the exhibition and publicized through the usual channels:
press and World Press Cartoon website and social networks pages.

The catalogue will go on sale the same day and will be sent to the participating artists, as is tradition, in the following weeks.

Trophies and cash prizes will be delivered to the winning artists via express mail and bank transfers.

We are certainly disappointed not to have an awards ceremony in 2022, in our 17th edition, but we are convinced that everything will be done to return in 2023 with the full celebration of creativity, freedom and humour as the essence of the World Press Cartoon

O WORLD PRESS CARTOON DE REGRESSO ÀS CALDAS DA RAINHA

OS VENCEDORES SERÃO ANUNCIADOS NA ABERTURA DA EXPOSIÇÃO

Mais uma vez, World Press Cartoon acontece na cidade das Caldas da Rainha. Graças à hospitalidade do seu município, num ano de transição de poderes, ali serão expostos os trabalhos seleccionados pelo júri internacional para o salão de 2022. A circunstância dessa transição implicou não dispormos de meios financeiros suficientes para realizar o programa tradicional de entrega de prémios, obrigando-nos a cumprir apenas os mínimos: os prémios, a exposição e o seu catálogo.

A exposição será aberta ao público no próximo dia 28 de Maio, no Centro Cultural e Congressos das Caldas da Rainha, até 28 de Agosto.

Os prémios serão anunciados no acto inaugural da exposição e divulgados pelos canais habituais: imprensa, website e redes sociais do World Press Cartoon.

O catálogo será posto à venda no mesmo dia e remetido para os artistas participantes, como é tradição, nas semanas seguintes.

Troféus e prémios monetários serão entregues aos artistas vencedores através de correio expresso e transferências bancárias.
Estamos decerto desapontados por não termos uma festa de entrega de prémios na nossa 17ª edição, mas convictos de que tudo será feito para regressarmos em 2023 num pleno da celebração de criatividade, liberdade e humor que faz a essência do World Press Cartoon.
