RULES OF THE CARTOON CONTEST “EL HUMOR VS POSCORONAVIRUS”
Reflections, lessons and experiences with the pandemic
1-Anyone who is enthusiastic about graphic humor can participate, regardless of age, nationality, or gender.
The technique is free, your technique can be analog or digital.
2-The format is 21 x 28 cms (horizontal or vertical) JPG files of 300 dpi (mandatory) resolution and works that have already participated in other contests or exhibitions can be sent.
3- The prizes:
1 prize of $ 1,000,000.oo * for first place – TOPIC: Humor vs. PosCoronavirus
1 prize of $ 500,000.oo * for second place – TOPIC: Humor vs. PosCoronavirus
1 prize of $ 300,000.oo * for third place – THEME: FREE
* Colombian pesos
4-The selected works will be on virtual exhibition at the 28 Calicomix International Festival 2021, on the CALICOMIX website and social networks
Participating children (under 15 years old) will have a special exhibition of their works with their names and nationality, the organization of the event will send them a certificate of participation in the contest.
5- The closing date is September 4, 2021
6- By participating, the contestant donates the rights to publish their works to the Calicomix Foundation and to the sponsoring entities of the contest to use them in dissemination campaigns in different media where the name of the artist and nationality of each contestant will be disclosed.
7- To participate you can send up to three digital works with the following information:
name, age, email and nationality, without these data you will not be able to compete.
Once the winners have been selected, they will be asked for the data to deliver the prize to their bank account. If the winner is a person residing abroad, the cost of transferring the money will be deducted from the prize.
