Dear Friend,

On April 8, the Jury met to evaluate the 8th Graphic Humor Contest organized by the Comparsa de Estudiantes of the Moors and Christians’ Festival of Elda, composed by Enrique Pérez Penedo, José Rubio Malagón and Emilio Alfaro Martínez.
After studying and analyzing the 490 works of 148 artists presented, they agreed to award the following prizes:
First Prize, Moors and Christians theme, endowed with 200 euros and trophy to:
Work presented by: Manuel Arriaga from Puente Tocinos (Murcia) Spain
First prize free thematic prize with 200 euros and trophy to:
Work presented by: Mohammad Hossein Akbari (Iran)
Second prize free theme with 100 euros and diploma:
Work presented by: Saeed Sadeghi (Iran)
of which we have enclosed the drawings.
We apologize for the delay in the communication of the prizes, motivated by the COVID-19 of which we were waiting for its evolution to publish in our magazine the winners and that has been delayed for 2021 due to the epidemic.
Congratulations to the winners and thanks to the jury for their work and reiterate our apologies for the delay in the information, soon we will send you the works selected for the exhibition.
