Humour & Vigne, Jonzac, France (5) -14th International Cartoon Biennial 2020 postponed to 2021 – Solidarity Action Covid-19 – Cartoon Contest

Dear friends, (Les ami(e)s francophones trouveront ci-dessous la version française de ce message)

Following the cancellation of the 14th International Cartoon Biennial 2020 in Jonzac due to the health crisis, we decided to postpone it to the dates of June 25 to July 4, 2021 hoping to be able to find ourselves in the best conditions.

Hope gives life and pending the publication of a catalogue printed in 2021 we would like to present soon a virtual catalogue dedicated to the theme “Joy of life” and continue the programme of animations and travelling exhibitions with our partners as far as possible.

Faced with the global crisis, we will need to remain united by also continuing to report on our activities in the press and social networks.*

The “Covid-19” solidarity action of the 14th International Cartoon Biennial has collected works from artists around the world to support the victims of the pandemic and all those fighting on the front line for our survival.

Around thirty cartoons were published by our partners in the regional press and, failing an exhibition planned during the Festival in Jonzac at the end of June, we are pleased to share the virtual exhibition dedicated to the Solidarity Action “Covid-19” visible through this link:
