Homage to the 80th Anniversary Tintin magazine
1919/2019

he famous reporter created by Hergé appeared for the first time on January 10, 1929 in the magazine ‘Le Petit Vingtième’, It was on January 10, 1929 when Tintin, first appeared in the magazine “Le Petit Vingtième” by the hand of the Belgian artist Hergé. It was the first adventure of the reporter in Bolshevik Russia entitled Tintin in the country of the Soviets. The denunciation of the Soviet regime effected by Hergé was acclaimed and motivated its author to launch his character to a series of trips that would take him to some of the most dreamed corners by lovers of adventure: from the passages of the pyramids of Egypt to the lush South American jungles, passing through the opium dens in China and even the Moon.

The legend was under way and Hergé had Tintin travel around the world to, in just five years, publish Tintin in the Congo (1931), Tintin in America (1932), The Pharaoh’s Cigars (1934) and The Blue Lotus (1936). ). In honor of the 80th Anniversary of the magazine Tintin 1919/2019 and the most famous reporter in the world, the Museum of Graphic Humor Diogenes Taborda summoned comedians from 80 countries who made vignettes celebrate the eighty years of existence of this comic.
