After an accurate analysis of the more than 500 cartoons received from artists who come from Italy and from the rest of the world (from India to Kenya, from Mexico to Canada, from Perù to Lithuania) for the 15th edition of the international competition of satirical cartoons Spirito di Vino, the jury chaired by Alfio Krancic – president of the competition – and Giorgio Forattini – honorary president of the competition had selected the 30 cartoons for the final stage.

Making this decision the tow presidents were been helped by eminent figures from the field of journalism, satire and graphics such as: Emilio Giannelli (cartoonist), Valerio Marini (cartoonist), Gianluigi Colin (Corriere della Sera art director), Franz Botré and Enzo Rizzo (director and deputy director of the magazine Spirito DiVino), Carlo Cambi (journalist), Paolo Marchi (journalist of Il Giornale), Aldo Colonetti (director of the magazine Ottagono), Fede & Tinto (Decanter RadioRai radio programme), Francesco Salvi (actor) and Elda Felluga (president of Movimento Turismo del Vino Friuli Venezia Giulia).
This competition is organised every year by Movimento Turismo del Vino Friuli Venezia Giulia together with Ottagono and Spirito diVino magazine, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the Cassa di Risparmio del Friuli Venezia Giulia.
