SUBJECT: WINE AND LOVE, LOVE AND WINE
The theme of this year’s edition focuses on the eternal bond between wine and love, an extraordinary couple that time cannot destroy. Wine is often called the “nectar of the Gods”, and love is the “eloquence of the soul”, highlighting their power to inspire, create, and unite.
Wine and love dazzle, intoxicate, and transform life into a brighter and more exciting experience, leaving a bittersweet aftertaste. They invite us to enjoy the moment, to find the balance between passion and wisdom, and to laugh at their unpredictability.
This subject allows the authors to interpret with a sense of humor and a creative eye the relationship between these concepts – from romance and passion to irony and comic aspects of life.
We are looking forward to your artworks that capture the magic of wine and love through cartoons, combined into a unique creative experience!

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1. The Biennial for Caricature is open to professional and amateur cartoonists from all over the world;
2. Each participant should send up at least one art piece 210/297 (A4 format);
3. The caricatures may be colorful or black and white;
4. Participants should send their caricatures by July 31, 2025;
5. Caricatures, sent only via email can be included in the exhibition but will not participate in the competition or be awarded.
6. It is advisable that participants also send a photograph or cartoon and CV, along with their caricatures.
7. An international jury will nominate five caricaturists who will be conferred the title of Master of Caricature;
8. Awarded cartoons are not sentback;
9. The rest of the caricatures will be sent back if authors state that in written form;
10. The Catalogue of the exhibition will be sent to each participant whose caricatures are included in it.
Time and venue: October 1st, 2025, at 18:00 in the Regional Ethnographic Museum.
Submission deadline: July 31, 2025
