NEWS FROM International Cartoon Exhibition 15th OSCARfest
Dear colleagues,
was opened in the Community Center in Osor, Croatia and the voting of the jury of visitors has begun.
Unfortunately, due to limited exhibition space we had to reduce the number of exhibits to 200+.
In the first selection, art critic Branka Hlevnjak (Croatia) chose one cartoon from each registered author (328).
In the second selection, the first-placed authors from last year’s 14th OSCARfest:
Hamid Soufi, Iran
Izabela Kowalska-Wieczorek, Poland
Luc Descheemaeker O-Sekoer, Belgium
they chose 234 cartoons for the exhibition.
Along with the exhibition of works in the competition, their independent exhibition was also set up.
Planned duration of the exhibition and audience jury voting until November 2023.
Congratulations to the selected authors, thank you all for your participation!
