RULES

-Theme
For its 4th international contest, the organizers of Desertif’actions 2022 wanted to deal with a subject of a raw topicality in the countries of the South as well as in the North: “land and droughts”.
This theme follows the previous editions “the earth makes its climate” in Montpellier in 2015, “land and climate, time to act” in Strasbourg in 2017 and “draw me the Great Green Wall” in Ouagadougou in 2019.

Dear participants of the Land and Drought Cartoon Contest launched on the occasion of the Desertif’actions 2022 civil society summit in Montpellier, France,

We would like to express our gratitude for your participation in this important contest that will support the event by taking a creative look at the topic of land and drought that concerns us. Allow us to congratulate you warmly and to say that all of your 421 drawings represent a great fresco on the subject. Thank you very much.

You will find here a press release that gives figures and details the composition and work of the high-level jury that has chosen the two winners who will be known on October 5 during the awards ceremony.

A selection of 33 drawings (32 authors) with the name of their author and country will be exhibited during the event, but also published on our website www.desertif-actions.org.
If you are part of this list of 33 drawings, you will receive a second specific mail.
We are also considering a projection of all the drawings during the event.
