افتتح في الثاني عشر من الشهر الجاري معرض فلسطين ليست وحدها الذي أقيم في طهران على هامش المسابقة الدولية التي  أقيمت بمواضيع متعددة، الكارتون والبوستر والبورتريه
وقال مسعود شجاعي أمين عام المسابقة إن فنانين من 66 دولة شاركوا بأعمال تجاوزت ال 3 آلاف لوحة في الأقسام المذكورة

An exhibition of selected cartoons, caricatures and posters of “Palestine is not alone” contests was opened on Monday, 12th of April

Sayyed Massoud Shojaei Tabatabai, the artistic secretary of the contest and the director of the Visual Art Center, said: “The international cartoon, caricature and poster contest of  ‘ Palestine is not alone ‘ was held last year on December, due to the Emmanuel Macron’s ideas about the Charlie Hebdo magazine using insolence words about the Prophet of Islam and the compromising activities of some Arab countries with the Zionist regime.

He added: “More than 3,000 artworks from artists of 66 countries were sent to the contest, and today in this exhibition, a selection of these artworks is on display for those who are interested in. Also, those who cannot attend the exhibition can visit it online on “Irancartoon” website.

Palestine was occupied by Jewish from the late 19th and beginning of 20 century. To have an independent country, Jewish started their efforts by support of English government, the world war was a good opportunity for Zionist to unveil such a dirty plan.

Shojaei Tabatabai continued: “The remarkable point is that many Jews were actually killed by the German army in World War II, why did they not consider parts of Germany and its allies to mollify the Jews.”

The director of Visual Art Center added: ” all cartoonists, caricaturists and poster designer around the world showed that Palestine is not alone and every one including artists has stood by them until the collapse of this usurper Zionist.

He said: “The President of France supported the insult of this magazine and called it freedom of speech, while no one dares to doubt the Holocaust, which is the main reason for occupying the Palestinian territories”.

In this exhibition a piece of art created by Habib Sadeghi is on display, which refers to palestainian’s difficulties in their lives due to the oppression of the Zionists and the love of the Palestinians for their homeland and their resistance.

The closing ceremony will be held on Holy Ghods’ Day online, because of the pandemic corona virus.

“Palestine is not alone”
According to Irancartoon site, Masoud Shojaei the general secretary of the international cartoon contest “Palestine is not alone” said:

“the contest had been held in three sections, including cartoon, caricature and poster, 2500 artworks had been sent to us from artists of 66 countries. There were a lot of good works in the field of cartoon.  The presence of many well-known artists gave authentication to this exhibition, and their presence encouraged many other artists to participate in the event”.

The jury members were from Italy, Poland, Brazil, Malaysia, and Iran, the foreign members presented online.

He said about the criteria for selecting jury members: “most of participants were from Latin America, and the number of participants from china, Malaysia, and Poland was also remarkable, so that was reasonable to invite jury members from these countries”.    

He added: “such a participation shows that Palestine is not alone in real, and we received good reflections from Qaza too”.

The closing and award ceremony will be held on Quds Day (the last Friday of Ramadan).
